You know, in 20 years we'll look back at this moment, waiting for a post, and we'll think we were stupid. Then we'll remeber why we did it, and we we'll be brillant.

Hey!! Well looks like Jason dropped the ball!! Damn kids. I just got back into town and am running out the door to go to a Z event in San Diego (2 hour drive). As usual, the Nissan guys aready saw this thread before I even told them about it. They came over with a nice Altima and Spec V for us to beat on as well as took us out to lunch to talk about what you wanted. Your suggestions here were all reviewed and it seems some MIGHT go forward. They will be looking into the R-Tune suspension as well as getting us info on the off line parts for the full blown race crowd. Now here's the drum roll...... NO F/I in the pipeline! NO ECU, NO CATs. These are things that the US Federal government doesn't want you to have. And yes, we talked about non-CARB legal stuff like headers being sold by them so why not other go fast stuff? It was one of those questions nobody seems to answer. Other Nismo rims will be coming in 19" as well as other colors... but don't hold your breath as this will take time. Now... the body kits!! Not sure what to say about this. It was asked by us 3 times that I counted... and we got the "smile.. oh... aaahhh.... quick change subject" answer every time. Now I know they are reading this so..... Nissan here's your chance to respond. I understand it's a fitment problem, just like every part on the market right now, including our own that we made. Nissan knows if they release it and it's not 100% perfect, then they will be more screwed than just holding it up until it is perfect. So I've got to get on the road, I'll check back Monday and give you some more stuff as I remember it. Jeff

Jeff.... thanks for your update.
Wow... what a letdown ! Appears that NISMO-USA is taking the conservative route in order to roll out a simple line of products for most NISSAN cars/vans instead of introducing some cutting-edge products for the Z.
Too bad. NISMO-USA would look a lot different if some members of this site occupied the executive office.
