So my bcm has been damaged and need to replace it. I found one with the same plugs from the same year but the part number is off by the last digit.

Today I just seen that the bcm is coming out of a roadster and I have a coupe.
Has any one tried a roadster bcm in a coupe and does it work?


If this works do I need more than a locksmith to program the keys?

 

You will need somebody to change something. I got one from a auto same year but the part number was the same. But I couldn't start the car and didn't feel like paying someone so I just put the stock back

 

The bcm is from a 6 speed model so that part is the same as mine. What would need to be changed?k

 

I think it needs to be programmed to the car

 

What are your part numbers? i can see if they superseded to each other
