Nissan Technician ecu programming Question
Is it possible to have two ecu's for one 350z?
What I mean by that is,if I were to take my 350z to a dealership and have them program my new ecu to my car(Due to nats)would I still be able to use the original ecu? Will they change the "password" in the ecu or in the bcm. OR do I need to have keys reprogrammed at that time?
I appreciate the help!,I realize I could simply mail in my ecu and have the nats removed by Osiris or any other Nissan tuner. It just seems like a waste of money imop just to have nats removed.
In case you haven't read my other post's...The only reason I want to run a spare ecu is to get through my emissions test .Which I can not with my Osiris tuned ecu

I have had my nissan tech friend do this for me a couple times when my ecu went bad. It seems that every time he needed all my keys, to reprogram the Keys to the BCM/ECU. I am not sure if you can change NATS in the ECU side. I am thinking not, by how he did this for me in the past.
