I've loved the 350z for years, and I'm finally ready to make the move. I actually think I'd prefer the 370, but it's kind of out of my price range.

So my question is, what's the best way to go about it? I keep hearing stories about 350s that are beat to $hi it, so how can I be sure I'm getting a decent one? How long do these engines last? Is anything under 100k ok?

 

have it checked by nissan pre-purchase, engines can last 250k miles if maintained properly, the lower the miles the better .

what is your price range

 

Maybe 10-12k. I want manual for sure, and I'm hoping for one that was garaged for the Illinois winters.

 

Miles don't bother me as much as neglect. If you don't know what your looking at a good pre purchase inspection will help a lot. While a Nissan dealership would be a good place to take candidates any good indy would suffice esp if you already have a good relationship with them.
