Default Help! Rev limiting and o2 sensor

2006 350z 83000 miles new clutch flywheel and MAF. Car was brought in for diagnostics and got both upper bank o2 sensor codes. They erased the codes. Car will randomly rev limit at 2500 Rpms until I shift. If I shut car off and turn back on it will run just fine. This sparatically happens. Why is it going into limp mode? Will oxygen sensor cause that?

im sure it can. the upstream O2's are the ones that control your AF ratios. if theyre not working correctly then the ECU wont know how much fuel to add, so it throws the car into limp mode so it wont blow up.

Sounds like you just need to replace both your O2 sensors and be done with it
