Default WIERD! car wouldn't rev about 2500 rpm

ok, i went out to my car and my room mate was waiting for me in it. he's never drove a manual befor and he was playing around with mine (grrrrrrrrrrr) he said he was trying to reverse it but i think that he kept putting it in 6th. he said he stalled a few times but that was it. when i got in and started driving the car it would not go above 2500 rpms!!!!!!! it felt like a rev limiter at 2500. i turned it off and back on and then it was fine.

does anyone know what happened??? is anything broken possibly?

Your car was in "limp mode" for some reason. Also, you need to learn how to spell and learn about punctuation and capitalization.

Limp mode is a function of the car's computer that occurs when something is wrong with the cars set parameters, ie. Your *** of a roomate is in the driver's seat the car went into Limp Mode till the problem was fixed ie taking the keys away from the goofball...

Now that everything is back to normal you should be OK...
