Default f&%*ing bodyshop!!!!

Help everyone. I just had some minor body work done at All pro Body in San Diego (dent removed and light paint). I also had my Stillen wing installed, I ll post picks later. Anyways I got my car washed today after the work was done, and I sh*t you not there is overspray all over my rims and entire hood and left side of my body. The guy that owns the shop is nice, but I want to rip his throaght out. I called him and he acts like its no big deal and says he will have his detailer go over it tommorow. No big deal F*U% You, how many body shops out there let paint fly all over the body of a new 35,000 dollar Z? I am so pissed I cant believe it. My cad literally feels like is is oxidized, it is girty everywhere and looks dull as can be. My tires even have paint splattered on them. What the hell should I do? Please someone tell me that a good buffing and detail will take this out and that my whole car isnt ruined! What action can I take against this guy, and should I even allow him to touch my car further? By the way on a positive note the wing looks great and I would suggest everyone go to TEXAS DAR.com to look at stillen wing type as they are much cheaper and will come to you with factory paint for Aprox 300.00. Wing looks great and weighs nothing.

I had the same problem. Try claybar on the body, worked out real well for me in getting the overspray off.

As far as rims, might ask for opinions of others. As far as involving the detailer or shop, make sure they don't just take a buffer to it.

Ditto bro dont feel bad. Same happened to me. I took my car to HERTRICH NISSAN in DOVER,DELAWARE ( ) to get two front license plate holes patched. I get my car back 3 days later in terrible shape (dirty all over the body) and overspray on my windshield, tires, and even engine bay.

The claybar WILL remove overspray. But be careful what they use to remove it on the tires, some chemicals will permanently stain the rubber (from what I've seen).

Oh yea, be careful with the claybar too. You can seriously f**k up your paint if you dont use it correctly.

let us know what happens. And remember, having a Z with a little overspray is better than not having a Z at all

Get some rubbing compound. It will come right off. No rush, you could leave it on for a month and it will still come off just as easily. (-former shop guy)

Sorry to hear about your car. I looked on the TexasDar.com website and I do not see any spoiler referencing a Stillen replica. There is one listed, NO LIGHT AGGRESSIVE LIP CUSTOM, that does not have a photo. Is this it?

advice - calm down!

if the body shop said they would fix it...then they'll fix it.

if they said "screw you, we did our job already" then you can get pissed.

take a deep breath, chill out....and let them fix their mistake.
