Default blinking engine light

Hello Folks,

2 weeks ago i was on the road and the car was running perfectly well.
I stopped and filled up the gas tank. Immediatly after that the engine start to vibrate, the engine light start to blink and the engine seams to run on only 5 cylinders...
I decided to go on the road anyway and once at home the scanner said p0300 code.
I replaced all the spark plugs and coil pacs with no success.
suddenly... let say after around 2 days and 80miles the engine start to run perfectly well.
Today the gas tank was low so i decided to filled it up at an other gas station real far from the other one (other company also) and once again the engine light start to blink and engine running bad...any idea?

Welcome and the first thing to do is pull codes again and see if P0300 pops up again.

What octane gas are you putting in? It could be a partially clogged of failing injector. Try Lucas Injector Cleaner(It's worth a shot). Did you replace your coil packs with OEM Nissan? Did you also pull codes again like dkmura suggested?..

1) Use Good quality, high octane fuel in your Z.
2) Never run the gas tank extremely low.
3) I recommend using BG 44K to clean up your fuel system, or as mentioned earlier try the Lucas stuff or some other flavor of injector cleaner, I personally prefer BG products.

How many miles are on your Z? It could simply be a faulty injector, and if one starts going, the others may soon follow. So it's best to replace all 6 injectors at the same time.

This is a RE-Post. The original thread is already being addressed in Maintenance Forum. Maybe we should just close this one.

Hi folks,

After i wrote this tread yesterday i took out the OBD2 and took off the p0300 code.
I then started the car and guess what...the engine run perfectly well...
Today i took the car for a long ride and nothing to say....
Probably bad gas....
Thanks for all folks you were probably right
Bye Bye
