How do you plan to use the car???
No one can answer generic questions without intended use. It's like trying to diagnose a car's problems without putting hands on the car. Or suggesting 300+ deg, high overlap cams when the car's use is going to be 80% street....

Welcome- but that's pretty sketchy info to put into your first post. Consider including how many miles/mods are on your car, what kind of maintenance (antifreeze, radiator cap, etc. changes) its had and what you think you'll get out of a cam change?

Nah dawg. My boy jus wants sum details on wat yo tryna spill out you feel me.. So ima tell you right now to run a search for cams on this site. The info be out there yo. Here's a taste: https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exha...ec-thread.html
The 350 is extremely difficult to burp - I would get the front end up on jack stands, crank the heat, and burp the system. In regards to cams, it depends on whether or not you're in a position where you can have head work done. I have JWT C8 cams in my '03 350z, and they're aggressive enough to get me to 300 whp and 284 wtq with full bolt on's, and dyno tune at Z1. (tuned on their dynojet)

You obviously don't recognize the difference between criticism and someone trying to help.
There is no criticism of anything. I asked/stated/mentioned TWICE there's no way anyone can help you if you don't explain what you want the car to ultimately do. It's called "building to a goal", NOT "I gots to have me some cam cuz that's bada$$."
Sure, you say you want more power. Who doesn't? But cams are a little like black magic...you have to be careful and use it sparingly and scientifically. You use too much it's gonna bite you on the *** cuz it won't run worth shid if your NEEDS don't specifically call for a mid-high powerband application.
Likewise, you use too little for a high rev, long track application, it's not worth doing or even bothering with because your engine's gonna peak out way too soon and you can wave bye-bye to your competitors.... from through your front window.
But here, let me spell it out for you simply; in terms that maybe make more sense:
It's like going to a doctor and saying "Heal me." and the doc says, "What's the problem, what hurts?" And you say, "Why you criticizing me?" The doc is just gonna stare at you weird and move on to the next patient. I mean, seriously, who's got time to dole out advice to someone who feels threatened and won't help themselves?
I see you said '03 Z - so therefore "DE"; but in there you mentioned "your HR". Where do you even have an HR engine? Please don't say in your Nismo.
But wow, I'm really confused.
BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T GIVE SPECIFICS ON WHAT GAINS YOU'RE EXPECTING, WHAT ENGINE OPERATING RANGE YOU ANTICIPATE, WHERE IT'S GOING TO BE USED, WHAT MODS ARE ALREADY IN PLACE and on and on.
Anyone intelligently building an engine - I don't care If it's a Nissan VQ, a U20, Blue Flame Six, or an LS3 - has to specify all of these things. Without it, you'll get generic answers and end up with a over or under-cammed motor (Bigger isn't always better!) with no support mods that'll be a huge waste of money.
No, instead you asked the vanilla "What cams should I get?" and I essentially asked, pointedly, "For what?"
You get my point?
Obviously not, because you're too busy getting butthurt and accusing me of criticizing. Which, if you read ANY of my posts here, you'd know I do NOT criticize others nor their choices. Because honestly, I do NOT care an iota what anyone else does to their cars. They're not my cars. But if my experience can help someone avoid a costly and time wasting mistake, I'll mention it in an advisory manner.
Trust me, if I wanted to criticize you, your cars, your anything.... you wouldn't have an intellectual leg left to stand on. So wise up and recognize when someone is trying to help instead of gettin' all pissy and takin' an attitude. That shid isn't welcome here.
And I'm still not criticizing when I easily could have. Jeebus.....
