Default Got beat today

Got beat today by a shitty SUV, look like a trailblazer. LoL

Probably cause I was granny shifting, not double clutching like I should (don't take that seriously).

My suspension is set up pretty nice, never really touch the engine yet. These HR Z's stock are pretty damn slow. I think it's time for a SC plus I gotta install my ART pipes I got sitting in the garage for the past year.

Better call Saul! it could be the driver, i think the HR is not a slow car. With proper bolt-ons and a tuned, you could've gapped that suv if you did it right.

I pull pretty hard on a buddy's Trailblazer SS so I would assume it's the driver.

Also, we don't condone street racing on this forum. Was this a race on the track? Or at least in Mexico lol

I agree and disagree, Granted yes it was probably the driver (me). But also stock HR's now ah days are pretty slow.

I said stock HR's now. New Hondas and VW's are pushing like 250ish hp and are lighter than are Z's.

Its alright tho, it just modivates us to spend $6k on a SC. Hahaha. I still find that crazy, FRS Sc kits run for like $3k an provide a lot of pull yet the SC for our 8+ year old cars are still $6k

I got beat by a lifted Tacoma.

I wasn't even racing I downshifted to pass him and he floored it like an a hole knowing needed the next freeway entrance (mind you 0 traffic he was just a dck)

But none the less after we hit 80 he was pulling and I realized I wasn't going to pass. These cars can be very slow lol

Yes, compared to new cars, a stock HR can be considered "slow" but that also depends on what car you are comparing it to. Have you not noticed the huge jump in the prices of cars since the HR was brand new? I can maybe, just maybe think of under 5 cars that could beat a stock HR in a straight line that costs less than $50,000. And I'm not talking about base MSRP that nobody gets, I mean a typical car that will cost you less than $50,000. For a car that was sold for around $30,000 9-10 years ago, that's not too shabby at all.

I would love to see a new stock Honda or VW beat my HR

Maybe the Honda Civic Type R will, but whoever spends over $35,000 for a Honda Civic needs a head examination.
