As discussed previously thinking about it, I traded my 2003 MX-5 this morning/afternoon (why does it take soooo long to buy a car) in at 9am out at 2:30pm. Worth the wait, two more cylinders, a lot more horses and one extra gear. Throw in leather, heated seats, Homelink, and I don't know what else.
It's a Roadster, so I don't know which forum is correct, here or over on the Roadster forum. Probably doesn't make much difference.
My son and I back in the late 70's test drove a new 280Z, liked it but no sale. Fast forward to today and we drove this 350Z and chimed the Nissan Dealers cash register.
We were checking it out in the dealers parking lot when a fellow in a red pickup stopped and asked if I were buying it. Probably I responded. He said, you can't go wrong with this car....I'm the mechanic here that has serviced it since new and the lady that owned it observed each service schedule. Confirmed by the Carfax...with 33 service entry's.
Gonna like this car.
Must take awhile to post pictures, can't seem to make it happen.

Congrats and welcome.
Loading pics is not a big deal, just click the little "mountain scene" icon in the tool bar and upload from your computer. Please try to keep images down below 900p wide to avoid the never ending right-scroll. DO NOT use Photobucket hosted images. They will not show up.
Thanks, I am more familiar with the "Manage attachments" option to insert photos, but I'm not having much luck there. Tried the mountain scene too with the same results.
Edit add...........Aha......I think I have the drag and insert figured.
I traded a very similar looking 2003 MX-5

Personally, don't care for roadsters (of any make) with TOP UP. But down, well dayam! And yes, said that about mine too... as well as my Datsun roadster. I've never driven it with the top up and even in "low use seasonal storage", well....
Nice. Welcome.. And yeah, you're gonna like this car. They can get a little obsessive.. So do you have any plans to modify it in any way, or are you just planning to keep it stock?

Thanks, Coincidently I just finished kicking around ebay for mods. Maybe a few things, but nothing drastic.
70 degrees here today, but snow predicted for tonight. Top stays up I'm afraid.
Oh and before you try and ask, your top will not go down in cold weather.
Everyone tries it, everyone asks thinking their top is broken. If it's not warm like 70+ and sunny your top will probably stick half way. Just how it works. So don't panic like we all do when it gets stuck for the first time.

Yeah, knew that, read the book.
It is 70 here today and rather nice. But at the dealer yesterday to ensure the top worked properly before signing papers we lowered and raised it in 50 degree temperture and it worked fine.
Today I raised it half way and checked to see what that area looked like, rust, dirt, etc. and finding no problems I raised it back up again.
I agree, it looks better top down. It will probably stay that way beginning about the first of May. The top was seldom up on my Miata. So simple to raise or lower manually, one hand operation. No electrics.

I'd love to drive that roadster with the top down through the hills of West Virginia in the summertime. Nice looking ride you found there. Congrats on the purchase

Thanks, I used to do just that with my Miata.
Not many straight flat roads here, mostly hills and curves, a sports car enthusiasts paradise,
Congrats on the upgrade, looks like you found a gem there!
You may want to inform your bank that all those future high dollar purchases made at Z1 and CZP are legit and yes you are in possession of your credit card and no you did not give your credit card information to anyone else.

Enjoy your Z!
I'm not familiar with Z1 and CZP, newby to the Nissan Z series.
