It doesn't appear that an auto can be flat towed or it at least is not approved by Nissan for flat towing.

If you're not in a position to where you can request a flatbed, then the drive wheels need to be off the ground.

According to the owners manual, the car must be towed on a flatbed.

It must be towed on a Trailor or flat bed. You risk totaling your car and tow vehicle trying to flag tow or 2 wheel tow this vehicle. Or ruin your transmission and driveline.

Even uhaul won’t even let you rent a 2 wheel dolly trailer for these cars. They only allow you to tow on a full vehicle trailer.

Also this^

IIRC their f150’s are $40 a day and their car trailers are $60... $100’s isn’t bad especially when you consider how much a standard transport will cost you.

If there was no other choice you could drag it but if the rear wheels stay on the ground you'll have to d/c the driveshaft.

If you attempt to tow it from the rear you might want to remove the front clip beforehand - Otherwise half of it will probably be gone when you get to your destination. Sort of like Hansel and Gretel and the breadcrumbs...

God invented those U-Haul car carriers for a reason.

Yeah just tow it backwards with a dolly... Just make sure you tie the steering wheel off, and kiss your bumper goodbye.

Depends on how far you plan on towing? I would tow it on a flat bed if you need to drive on a highway. You CAN tow it with the drive wheels up, but then you risk damage to the front of the car if you hit bumps/debris and you will need to have a T like they use for alignments to keep your steering wheel straight, or as mentioned, tie it and hope for the best.

but for the money, a flat bed is your easiest and safest way to tow. I had to tow my Z when I purchased it, I called a tow company and for them to drive 60 miles one way to come get the car then 60 miles to drop it off at my home, they only charged me $300 to toss it on a flat bed at 9pm at night. (I could have rented a U-Haul but the Z purchase was a last minute buy on a Sunday night haha)
