22 and a vehicle technician full time and an advanced auto cashier part time (because extra money doesnt hurt). I'm able to spend like this because I saved way before I came on this forum. Why am I doing a widebody? Because I want to. Why do anything?

So back to the update. I ordered the do luck wyvern rear bumper today and am waiting on a ship date. It costed $1250 but I think that's the last piece I'll need to at least start cutting. Wheels are next! Getyourwheels is awesome and I'm probably going to go through them to get the ones I want. I won't know the exact sizes I'll be getting until the widebody is installed. So more to come

So I received an email from bulletproof automotive saying that the rear bumper is 5-6 months out. 6 months seems to be the magic number so far. I wanted to get measurements for my wheels but I'm going to find out how wide I'll be from Stardast. I guess it's almost time to start looking at wheels.

Default Ever have to compromise?

As the title suggests, I'm compromising. Stardast has apparently dropped off the face of the earth and Amuse was taking forever (probably because of the new line for the 370z) and I'm done trying to wait 6 months for parts to come in. So... I bought the Greddy 350z V2 Rocket Bunny kit. It's not a bad looking kit but I wanted this build to show off what I can do body work wise. Also with it being frp, I'm probably going to leave the kit alone after it is installed. Sorry guys, it's been a hectic month and with the money I was spending, it's just not worth it for the wait. The rocket bunny kit was 3900 plus 300 for shipping. I'll buy the air lift performance kit next month. Then wheels. The car will be how I'd like it to look before the end of the year. I don't think anyone else is following this build but to the guys in the future that stumble across it, keep up with the manufacturer and make sure they are still placing orders for the pieces you want. I'll still be adding on this build as ideas change and progress is made.

Default Shout out to getyourwheels!

Last night I got off the phone with them and they gave me the best offsets and sizes for the look I'm going for. I bought the forgestar f14 super deep concaves 19x11 and 19x12. I'l have to run a small spacer but it's the best single piece wheel I could find. Of course, fantastic customer service and I will definitely buy from them again! Thanks guys!

My front wheels are 9.5x18, + 15 with 265/40/18.
Backs 10.5x18 + 15 with 295/40/18.

My steering response is heavy as ****. I truly hope with those size wheels/tires you are not expecting an agile vehicle. Form over Function?

But again, your car, your money. Good luck!

I'm running 9.5x19 and 10.5x 19 currently and maybe I'm used to it. But I havnt noticed heavy steering too bad. It's not going to be a track car tho so I'm not too worried

Actually talking about your 19x11 and 19x12 set-up in your prior post where you bought the Forgestar Super-Deep Concaves. Carry on.

Perhaps you're right, my friend. I simply hate it when folks get on here with no pics of their car (yellow button with green mountains).
