Question Has Any One Used ATD in CT?

I was curious if any one has any comments on the guys from Attention to Details in Middletown CT?

I have about 18-20 dents from an acorn tree, Yes Acorns

It looks like freakin hail damage and I've heard that they do Paintless dent removal

Or has anybody used them for any other service they offer

Are they as detailed as they say or would I be wasting my time going there from Long Island?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I'm from Middletown and I've never heard of them. I know Middletown Nissan has someone come in to do paintless dent removal, but I'm not sure who. You might try PMing vics350 about this.

I have no idea who they are either. You may want to contact Rob in the Service Dept. at Middletown Nissan (860-632-6550) as they have a guy that goes there and does all their paintless dent removal. They did Jeff's and did a great job.

Jeff, I just found out that Attention to Detail is where Boomer McCloud is. Might be a separate business at the same location but I wasn't impressed with them when I went to them about a stereo system.

I know you had them install your clear film which you ended up having XXTuning replace. Now that you know where these guys are, what do you think of them?

I ordered seats from them once and no problems for whatever that's worth.

Guys, I'm not saying their not a good vendor. Maybe their good at certain things and ordering something and having it shipped is different than having them perform work on your car.

Z Shadow asked for an opinion and I gave him mine. I live in Middletown and I now know who they are. They do have a nice building which is why I went there when I first got my car and they did not cause a good impression when I asked them about a stereo install.

I know Jeff had them install the clear film on his car and after 1 year he had to have it removed and re-done by someone else.

Does this mean they're horrible? Absolutely not, but to me first impressions count alot and I wasn't impressed.

Victor, I definitely agree with you. The clear film they installed on my car was no where near the quality as the film XXTuning installed. Now that I know who ATD is, I did (prior to the film) have my car detailed there (3/03, too cold to do it myself in my driveway) and I thought they did a good job with that. The only reason I don't use them now (this time of year) is that I use Zaino and they don't.

As far as paintless dent removal, I don't know if ATD is any good or not. I actually had European Motorsports in Middletown work on my car. They did a great job. The Z had a slight altercation with a ladder in my garage and the ladder won, so I had the whole passenger side door repainted.

I do know however that ATD does aftermarket installations (sunroof, alarms, etc.) for many area dealers. I can't imagine that the dealers would put up with shoddy work, so draw your own opinion from that.
