Default Is this a good deal?

So I have been looking to get another Z since I sold my 2003 a few years back. I found an 07 that caught my eye but I have been out of the Z scene for awhile so I am not sure what good deals are anymore.

According to KBB its a good deal, but your thoughts?

2007 350Z RED basic edition
66000 miles
$9,000 USD
flawless inside and out
Manual trans
No upgrades at all

Since we have no idea where your geographic area is, there's no way to factor that in. What about maintenance records, and a Carfax report on the title?

Lol, I guess you make a pretty valid point.

1. Phoenix AZ
2. Carfax is good, three total owners all in AZ
3. Not much for maint records other than just the normal lube and tire changes

Last two owners only put 15k on the car over 6 years.

Without any maintenance records, you have no real idea of what you're buying. Hire a Nissan tech to do a full mechanical assessment of the car before anything else.

Seems like a slightly better than average resale price for milage and year to me.

Not that I shop daily, nor am I in the business.

Finding unmolested Zs on lots are getting harder and harder to find these days.

As the 350 ages, gets higher in milage, and prices drop....Y

ounger and less car preservationist types are buying them, and putting their personal touches on them..

Things like, Fart Cans, Big Wings, Plasti-Dip Blackouts, Funky Wheels, Killer Sound Systems, etc.

A few months back I thought of trading in my 03 Touring with 86,000 miles, I was offered $5,000 by the dealer...

They said a 15 year old car, it's a wholesale unit, nobody wants it.

I bet you if I did go through with that deal, my 03 Z would be out on their lot priced at $9,900, and not wholesaled.

Good luck on your search !
