Dang, that would have been a nice mule to transplant all my upgrades and $$$$$ into! At 111k mine runs superbly but I find myself doubtful about keeping a geriatric vehicle. So the choices are find a mule and swap over or change platforms.

Not a 33 but this one piqued my interest (because mine was destroyed in front of my house) and is one of my Top 3 Zs (of 20-some) I wish I still had.
Just had an end-of-auction bid war and sold for $30,333! (I fought with insurance and got $mid-teens 3-4 years ago with 125k on it! Was happy at the time and comparatively, this one got the ZCar-upshot-present-value)
BTW - there are a number of S30s on BaT currently. Not surprised. Values are all over the place but all elevated. Glad I'm "out" of that game. (I say that now... a day after I almost bid on a Straman converted Z31 YESTERDAY. Almost. Haha!)
Current bid as of this post: $10,000
(Going to go out on a limb and hazard a guess.... $16,100 high bid with reserve unmet. Although a <2,000 mile Touring sold for $31k recently.... hmmmm.)
Z content sorta... Makes me wonder what an original Fairlady Z432R would sell for now. One sold for $800k a couple of years ago. Yow! Guess I could sell our house in Maui (and still get outbid)... haha.
It sold on BAT a couple years ago for $32k and as of this posting is at $33k. Original 1990 price was ~$33k. Can only imagine how much it will go for in today's dollars ($69,960.00) given mileage and collector status which is rising on all Z models but in particular the Z32TT; which has been going up steadily in the last 3 years.
So, does the new owner of this Z buy it and just never drive it? I've always been fond of the Z32s, but I would want to drive it everywhere and quickly depreciate any type of resale value!

I can only think that’s the case … drive it just enough to keep things wet?

Me too, I want to drive it, enjoy it, etc.

Therein lay the problem with people buying them as "museum pieces." When the car was sold on BaT in 2019, it had 6k miles. As listed this week, it has 6k miles. Ehhhhhh.
This is a great driver's car. Even my Z32 NA was fun. Pop the roofs out, cruise it on the coast. Great feeling. This one SHOULD be the same. Get in, drive, drive some more, stop for dinner, check into the hotel. [Repeat next day and the next and so forth until you gotta turn around because work beckons. Or something.]
BTW, car bid up to $47,000. RESERVE NOT MET! Ehhhhhhh......
Greed rears its ugly head. $15k profit refused. Even taking into account a generous $5k for work done (yeah, right) and transport, $10k minimum profit refused. Back into the garage to just sit.
agreed, I picked mine up back in DEC 2014, delivered in JAN 2015 with 14,000 miles, i use it as my daily. it think it has around 56,000 miles now. i like driving it as much as my 350.
