NOT a 33 but interesting provenance of this restored Z31.
Apparently this car was campaigned by Tom Cruise in SCCA SSA class (Showroom Stock A, second highest stock class back in the day). That, to me (IMO) isn't enough of a draw to spend this kind of money on a 31. (At $20k as of this writing). I'd buy another Shiro Special or at least an Anniversary car before this one. Especially considering the hodge podge "restoration" of mixed year parts, a motor built up that I doubt you could even campaign the car in anything close to a stock class, e.g, Touring, as it was back in the day. Even in SVRA, CSRG (vintage racing), I doubt its competitiveness. But hey, it was driven by Top Gun Maverick! Haha.

Thanks Trav. Was notified by BaT about this one (and all Zs). Not going to bid. Canadian model which I’ll have problem registering (due to CA smog non-conformance). And it’s priced up there already.

There seem to be a lot of low mileage ZRs out there. I never really understood those chrome wheels. Maybe catering to some of the older touring gen-er's (ahem, mic). Also, never seen AX6 referred to as Hibiscus Red, but it sounds more fancy than Redline, I guess...

Heel never misses a beat inferring my advanced age. It’s OK since it’s just his way of wishimg me a happy birthday. Thanks.
HOWEVER…. 😆
In over two dozen sets of Z wheels, never owned a set of those chrome 18s. They’re not horrible at all but I’m not quite ready for the pasture. And when I want to do some geriatric “touring”, ain’t gonna be in a Z. That’s why I have two other top down roadsters.
