Same. I've been looking for an R35 for a while and they mostly seem beat to crap or the seller is just stupid with the price (y'know the type - totaling all of the money spent on modifications and then adding that to the price that they paid for it). That makes about as much sense as adding the total cost of all of the fuel I've put into a car and formulating a selling price.

I expect this Z Nismo on BAT to fizzle out hard. I guess the seller thought he had some type of rare example and trying to flip it quick to make a few bucks.

2005 AE Version - while the AE is pretty much an ancillary model to the GT, this one is pretty amazing.

234 miles. That's 2-3-4.

When the "new Z" came out, I stated that the market for this car was for "first time Z buyers". Young, old, GenX or any age from the silver spoon crowd or the nouveau riche techies that haven't bought into the Teslacle CyberFUGLYtruck bamboozle. Well, I was proven both right and wrong. The people *that I know* who own them are long time Z owners BUT speaking with others in the biz tell me that most of the buyers (or at least lookers) are not previous owners. Either way, I don't really see that much interest in the car from previous 33 or 34 owners. Maybe it's the car or maybe it's the fact that these owners "have it out of their systems" by now. Haha.

By the way, the Nismo "new Z" on BaT did fizzle out at $55k, no sale.

Funny you should mention this. Because my brother in law is looking to trade up from his 2014 STI to the new RZ34. I asked him "Why not the new Supra?" and his response was simply that he didn't like the styling. He's in the GenX demographic and I guess he's burned out on driving a manual in Bay Area Traffic. He's never owned a Z-car before, but of course we talk shop a lot and he knows how much I love my Z33.
Cheers!

It was a Twofer Tuesday yesterday. (Well, the last one showed up late Monday, I guess.)

Both same color at least.

That ZR is very clean. I'm tempted to bid on it just to get the rare wheels! But I also love that color, especially on a ZR for some reason, it just works. Maybe because I'm a CA native and something about the idea of driving down the Pacific Coast (Highway 1) in an orange ZR roadster just seems to fit.

Thanks for sharing Mic!
Cheers!

Agreed. That ZR is pretty. I've always liked those ventilated burnt orange seats. A while back I tried finding a used set and they were all trashed. In hindsight, I should have just gotten them and re-upholstered as they seem impossible to find now.

Is there a particular reason you need ventilation in the seats? Dare I say it?

No, I'll let it pass. Like you.

Nismo 1554 - Moderate mileage at 77k - No Reserve Auction

Aside from the dumbo fake "Fairlady" emblems, dings and scratches all over, seems close enough to stock to make a decent keeper.

Why do people call things things that they aren't?
