Will a 2008 350z stock muffler fit a 2003 350z?

 

I know the CATs & Y-Pipe designs are different between 03-06 & 07-08 years (DE vs HR and all), but I'm not sure about the mid-pipe connection or the final rear muffler assembly. Not too many folks have tried back-fitting OEM exhaust components between model/years when aftermarket upgrades are plentiful. The only case I've noticed was someone swapping the HR Y-Pipe for the DE version, apparently the diameter of the pipe is slightly larger on the DE version.

Where exactly are you located in CA? If you need an OEM exhaust assembly, I have a complete catback system I need to sell with low mileage (off an 06 Revup DE). I just haven't had a chance to unhang it from the garage rafters, clean off the cobwebs, & take pics. Very clean OEM system and I even have brand new OEM gaskets for the Y-pipe flanges.
