Recommendation on new wheels for my 350Z
Hi,
Just purchased a 2004 350Z in mint condition. I got the Lemans Sunset color and it has only 8,000 original miles. I’m looking to upgrade the factory wheels and am looking for recommendations on new wheels. Want to get something that really stands out with this color.
Thanks, Ken

Just look around on google images to narrow down what YOU like. If we have 500 active “members” on here, there’ll be 500 opinions and not one right except your own.
And if you are seeking recommendations, what's the budget? You can buy some "look great, break me now" junk for $600 or you can spend $5k+ on a set of overrated "name brand but likely indestructible wheels that aren't that light weight".

Aloha
Google up 19” Advanti Svelto and see if you like em. I chose them based on a balance of weight, price, strength and looks (in that order). They’re rotory forged and have held up well in the 10 months I’ve driven them. They’re not as expensive as Rays but way nicer than the ones that are $125 each. I put 19” Michelin pilot super sports 255/30 front and 275/30 back and that combo doesn’t rub on anything and fills the wheel well up for a good look. Hope that’s helpful :-)

No, rubber would be additional.! What color wheels would you recommend with the Lenas Sunset? I currently have 17” wheels and heard that going to 19” makes for a rough ride? I’m not into taking this car on the track, just making it look good. What do you think?

I thought 18’s as well. I like the titanium, or gun metal gray which is probably similar to the battleship gray. What is your opinion on these clear bras for the nose? I hear pro and con! Just trying to keep the rock chips down.

And here's 1 of the 11... in 1999 when the 350Z Concept came out in the stunning Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic ( DSOM )....
It was showcased with a gunmetal / champagne color 5 spoke wheel.... I'd try to capture this essence and vibe, but we're sure the other 7 active members will chime in....
Maybe 6, We think one of few the remaining members here may have modded their 350Z to death....since their last post was in Oct of 2013..
You can always keep it stock you know.... This is one reason why your pristine example may have survived for 15 years....

I agree! I don’t want to over due the modifications! I’m taking this car to the track or looking to street race! Maybe just upgrade the wheels and tires! You have any opinion on these clear bras for the nose? I hear pro and con. Thanks!

if done right, by someone who knows what they are doing... they are great, a fly by night place and it will look like crap
my boss is having hers redone on her porsche this coming week, because the dealer installed it and it is lifting and generally looks like crap
