Need input from 350z and 370z owners
I'm currently looking at 2 cars. A 2008 350z with 58k miles for $12,000 or a 2009 370z with 78k miles for $14,500. Both in great condition. Is the 370z that much faster than the 350z?
Not enough info about the cars. Are they manual, automatic, what kind of condition, exterior and interior wise? Are either of the cars already modified? Which car do you like the looks of better? Many questions only you can answer with the current information given.
In stock form no, the 370z is marginally faster than an 07-08 350z, if at all. However with the right modifications it's not uncommon for a 370z to make around 30hp more than a 350z, with both being 'full-bolt-ons' (obviously the numbers will be different given location and different dyno measurements, etc, but it gives you an idea).
Either engine has proven to be fairly reliable, yet the 370 engine is also more complex than the 3.5l hr engine. However, it's not all about power either, the chassis is quite different from a 350z in it's rigidity, etc... from what I've read. This is just the basic information, but gives you a place to start.

Both cars are automatic, the mrs wants to be able to drive it too. The 350z has heated leather seats and is in great condition both inside and out. 370z has cloth seats and is in great condition inside and out too. I like both body styles but I do lean a bit more towards the 350z but dont mind the 370zs look. Just mostly looking at the difference in performance

This sounds like more of your “Should I buy a Z?” threads that people take the time to answer and you just walk away and do nothing, say nothing, don’t thank anyone. Waste of time, people.

The car ahead of its time. Imagine how successful the Gremlin would be now.... in the age of "crossovers".
Gag.....
Butt, I admit it.... I actually would find one of those entertaining in my garage. Now, not then.
There actually was a Gremlin that sported the mondo 401 V8. I think it was a one year only car with not too many made. That car was the AMC rough equivalent to Nissan's Autech/Nismo or Mercedes Benz's pre-acquisition AMG models where they were farmed out to be built into a "Special Order", limited editions. That would be the one to own!
Hmmmm..... off I go to Hemmings..... Har dee har har....
