Default Replace alternator

There is an electrical connection behind the alternator that I can't see very well. Beside the clip-in connection. Does anyone know the configuration of the connection?

Hey James. You will need an 8mm for the two small bolts on the back of the alternator This is actually only a bracket and can wait until last. There is also a nut on the back of the alternator for the positive. This is a 13mm I believe. You will need a 14mm for bolt on the front-bottom of the alternator as well as the loooong bolt that allows the alternator to pivot. This long 14mm will require you to remove your rad fans. Don't forget that connector on the back.

If you had asked a day or two sooner I would have taken pics. I just reinstalled mine yesterday lol

Any other questions just let me know.

I just did my alternator too. What 813 said is right. Also, there is a hose that is fitted into the bracket behind the alternator. Removing that gives more wiggle room to get to the 8mm nuts and the positive cable nut.
