I feel stupid. Passenger window issue.
I have over 20 years experience working on cars. So my passenger side window went down with the soft top but would not come back up. I searched the internet high and low and went to dark side. Everything pointed to bad motor. I pull the door panel and start test for voltage. Found out I had no power to motor. Then went to switch no power there. I started checking every fuse and relay in car. I was just about to set it on fire when my 8 yr old daughter comes out and walks to driver door and says what's this switch daddy. It was the lock out switch for the windows. With lighter in hand and fuel can near by I said push it for sweetie. The window works. Guess I hit it at some point.

Oh, no, not me, nahhhh, that could never happen, nuh uhh, nooo.
And given Jcat's response, could this be the start of the "Stupid things I've done with cars" thread? Laff..... Phew, wonder how many BTDT chuckles I'd have.

Once upon a time I had a 71 chevy k10 mostly taken apart with just a frame engine transmission and front end attached with the rear end supported high up on some cinder blocks...
Long story short the entire thing came crashing down violently and the frame was never straight again.

That happened to me this past weekend. I was replacing my drivers side window motor and regulator. When I went to test the window, I checked the passenger window and it didnt work. I thought "How could both sides go bad at the same time. Turns out, when fussing with the window switches, I pressed the window lock switch, just like you did.
