Default Exhaust manifold broke need some advice

Hello everybody I have a 2004 350z and on the passenger side the exhaust manifold tube separated from the exhaust manifold flange that bolts to my HFC's. Because of money right now I dont want to buy new headers, but I could use some tips for taking it off because I am going to weld it. Also if anyone has any clue what the oem material is of the headers I would appreciate it. I believe it is steel.

The exhaust manifold on the early VQ35DEs are a stamped steel part that'll be difficult to weld. I'd suggest looking for a cheap OEM replacement part on CL or fleabay instead.

This video does a pretty good job covering the process of removing the exhaust headers. Note the passenger side is the more difficult one to remove.

Good Luck!

Like dk said, that's gonna be difficult to fix. You can find used headers pretty cheap, especially nowadays (I paid like $350 for mine back in 2005). Browse the for sale section here as well as eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, and Offer Up.

Hey yall I finally got new megan headers installed it was a pain and took about 12 hours, a 36 pack, and an extra set of hands (no lift and through the engine bay). Thank you for the advice. Not heres the other issue I ran into. My dumbass managed to snap off a bolt in the engine block. I plan on using an ez out to get it out. But my car is still down for the count. Havent been able to hear the new headers ;-;

Any tips on removing the broken bolt other than I mentioned?
