The truth is no exhaust for this car is making any magical numbers so sound is all that matters. There are 3 HKS systems and all of them have better quality than most systems out there. Mine is 80mm all the way back.

So since I plan on doing custom work after the Y pipe for now, would 3in after the stock Y pipe be a bad idea? Would that jump from 2.25in (or 2.33in) on each side of the Y pipe to the 3in midpipe be bad? I ask this since most 3in setups include 2.5in Y pipes.

Again, I'm doing this exhaust for sound. Not looking for huge HP gains. But also don't want to lose power from a mod which should do the opposite.

So I finally got the exhaust done and I love it. Thank you all for your help and suggestions.

I went with a custom exhaust after the stock Y pipe. Its a 3 inch pipe with a Vibrant 1795 resonator. It then splits into two 2.5 inch pipes that go to 4 inch tips. Just what I was looking for. Its loud, but not a raspy/ obnoxious loud. The labor + vibrant resonator + 2x tips all costed about $300. I'll post videos soon. Again, thanks for all your input and suggestions.
