Size Matters?
Well Im a BIG guy.... 6 ft 250lbs.......
I had a great fit and feel in my 94 300zxTT. There was A LOT of room and the seats just seemed to conform to my size.....
By contrast i tried to fit my big body in a vette and M3 and it was hardly comfy. I could not find the proper seating position and felt out of place.....
Anyway the question is ......Are there any large bodies that find the new 350z comfortable?
I have not orderd the new 350z yet cause i have not found one to sit in ....
looking fro honest feedback......Thanks all!

I'm 6'3", 220, mostly muscle, and I fit very well, except for the fact that the side bolsters are a little bit narrow for my lats. I like the car so much, however, I'm gonna lay off the pulldowns at the gym.

Big Guy
Well lets just say I am a big guy,not as tall as you all , 1/4 inch under 6 feet, and about 280 lbs. And long on the torso. My head touches in many cars. My Z is no problem. Head clearance of about an inch. Shoulder clearance of about 1/2 inch laterally. Leg room is good too. Obviously the seats are snug but still feels good to me for one such as I .Rest assured that mant big people can drive this car comfortably.
After all there are not too many true sport cars which Fat Boys like me can enjoy. I can't even fold into a S2000 and those Cameros and Stangs are not ok for me either.
Hope this helps...

I was really worried about fitting into the car as I weigh in at 291 (certified lardass but going to WW and the gym now). I am very wide, broad sholders, etc with a stomach that made the guy at the Chinese buffet cringe as he saw me walking up to the front door. I am happy to say that the seat fits me just fine (like a glove, but not OJ's glove) and I don't even have the seat all the way back!

Hey I'm working on my weight by working out but I'm a big guy too - 6'1 250. THe Z cuts into my sides a bit but overall it's comfie. My back, however, does not sit completely flush with the back of the seat because of the lateral supports. Now if I lost 25-50 lbs hehehe... good enough reason to (second of course below health!)
Now if I can stay away from McDonalds Milkshakes and Taco BELL!! ARGH!!!

well i have wondered this for quit a while now. I have been wanting a sports car for the past few years. I had my mind set on a c5 vette. After saving and waiting for my business to take off , i went down and sat in a c5,..... Wide *** car!!!!! very very very narrow seating, the damn center console is as wide as the seat!!!!!! No room and my head was cut off at about my eyebrows. I was very pissed for a long time after that.
Im 6-2 and between 280 and 295, depending on how many wings i eat! : ) I have sat and drove a few gt's and ss camaros, the seats in both need to go back 2-3 inches, they dont. I have also looked at the s2000,, hahaha i said looked because there was no way i was going to fit. The 330ci was very good, but not for me,,,, too snobby. What is really weird is that the audi tt fit perfect, a very small car but i fit soooo good in it. The seat sinks down about 3 inches, very nice. But for $40k,,,, over priced. The s4's dont have any head room and are kind of smallish inside. So i seen a mini cooper the other week . HUGE ROOM INSIDE!!!!! This car was built around a guy 6-7. But it is just to "cute" for me. It is weird that the 2 smallest sports cars out there fit me really good????? wtf? I just think it would be funny someone my size getting in and out of one of these cars and have people look and say" how does that big guy get in and out of it"?
So last week the nissan dealer called and said a red touring was in,, i flew down and jokingly said i would love to sit in it but i know that the owner would not like anyone in his car before, or even after he got the first sit. The dealer said go ahead jump in it!!! I was like ok, here it is the make or break point!!
I was very suprised that i fit!!!!!! head room shoulder room , my veiw out the front winsheild was just right, not an inch to spare. The only grip i really had was that the side of my left thigh was totally up against the door skin. This i might just just have to get use to, im coming out from a f 150 4x4....... so ok. So i will group the 350z into the sport car class that i would be commffy in. So far that group is about 3 cars. Maybe 4 if the new golf is going to have 240h.p next year, that car really has a ton of room. Also wish the 4motion was coming here , but it isnt. O well.
Im going to spend some more time in a 350z next week, longer than the 2 minutes i spent in the first one. So all in all big guys will be able to fit in the 350z. Also my inseam is like 31-32 so i guess im mostly torsso. Good luck big boys.

I'm 6'2" and about 220#. Maybe that's not big enough to be helpful for you guys trying to figure out if you'll fit, but I thought I'd give you two cents. It might help.
It's one of the most comfortable cars I've ever had the pleasure of putting my *** in. (It's easily the most comfortable sports car I've ever filled.) I had plenty of room.
My experience may be most helpful to those with long legs. I have a 36" inseam and found I easily had enough legroom.
Hope that helps.

I'm 6'0 and weigh about 260-270, broad shoulders and wide. The only thing I can complain about is that I don't sit with my back flush with the seat because of the side bolsters. It just gives me a reason to stop going to McD's. I'd work out more, but would rather spend my time driving .

6'2 243 lbs, large frame, weight evenly distributed, 30" inseam, getting way too personal here. I sat in one at the showroom today. (But since I don't know how to hotwire anything, I didn't get to drive it.) Very good fit. Getting into the thing it feels as solid as a rock. My legs didn't really bend at he knees much, sort of like sitting in a Mustang. It felt very different from any car I've been in, but it felt good, much how it looks different and looks good
The way the roof comes down where the visor is feels a bit confining. It's not in the way, but the fact that it's so close is strange. The headroom is great. I should have played with seat and stuff, but stupid me just got in and out.
Like 911350z said, the door seems a bit too close, but I'm sure I'd get used to it quickly.
Hey, that was the first time I've been in a Z for well over 20 years!

6'2 250 and fit fine in the 350Z...actually better than fine. In fact I have more room in my 350 Z width wise than I do in my Explorer Sport Trac. Head room is decent, leg room fine, width is really nice.
I was so concerned about this before I got my car, and now I don't even think about it...which is really something. It's also easier to get in and out than I expected.
Good luck, you won't be disappointed.

I'm 6'2 200 lb, never been in a Z. My main concern is not leg room, most car seats will go back far enough. It's the stearing wheel that ends up to far away for a proper grip. I end up with my arms streeched to far out and uncomfortable.
A teloscoping wheel would be nice.
