That sort of clicking sound in the engin . I never really noticed it. Is it normal?

So I think I'm only hearing the noise when the car is cold-ish. Both times I noticed it the car had been sitting for a couple of hours. After driving it for a bit, I didn't notice it. Someone suggested that it might be the flywheel, but I still hear it when the clutch is depressed.

 

The video starts with a deep whir sound that cuts out at 11 sec, sounds the radiator fan cutting out. All the other ticks and clicks sound like injectors cycling or mechanisms in the head cycling. There's one click that is distinct from the others but doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary. Would have to be there in person to hear for sure, idk.

 

Exactly where does it sound like it's coming from?
whatever it is, it's something hitting something constantly moving/ spinning

 

I'm not really sure. It was coming from somewhere behind the motor.

 

Inspect your spark plugs. Damaged spark plugs can cause ticking.
Could also be a manifold leak.
Is your oil level ok?
