Default If you have tire pressure monitor, be careful when getting tires mounted/dismounted.

Just a quick note, warn your tire installer that you have tire pressure sensors. I had a puncture already and had to have the tire patched at the track. I didn't warn the guy, but luckily he knew about the car and told me that in the future, I should warn tire guys so they don't tear off the sensor. He actually showed me that he uses a different arm on the bead breaker.

BTW, I did see the TPS. It is a little blue plastic piece on the inside of the valve stem and it angles a bit so it lays flat against the wheel.

Were you able to determine if the TPS is mounted the same as a regular valve stem or are the wheels made specificly for them. I'm curious if we can mount the sensors in aftermarket wheels.
