Brake Lights Stay on
the brake lights on the g/f's 2004 350Z are stuck on. I haven't got yo check it out in person yet, but I am on my way there now.
The obvious thing I think of is a bad break light switch. Any other thoughts? Any handy tips for removing the switch? It's a pretty tight fit under the dash, and I am not a small person.
Thanks,
Jeff

Fortunately, you shouldn't need any tools to change it. Just twist 1/4 turn and pull it out.
This is a Juke.. Same setup.

Thanks for the video Cobra!
After getting under the dashboard, I discovered the switch was just fine, but the plastic pad mounted to the brake pedal arm had broken. The button for the switch extended through the mounting hole for the pad!
It's going to take a couple days to get a new pad. Luckily, the cruise control interrupt switch is mounted just below the brake light switch, and uses the same pad. The cruise control now thinks I am riding the brake, but the brake lights are happy.
Thanks everyone!
