Default Question about an oil catch can

Question about a catch can. I recently installed a mishimoto catch can. I never really payed much attention to the oil pressure gauge before. However, and not that it should affect oil pressure, when I warm the car up and rev it, the oil pressure needle seems to dance around a lot more. Anyone else notice this? It seems to move up in concert w me revving the car. Unfortunately I haven't driven it in months due to winter so I won't know if it feels different or not when I finally drive it. My understanding is that it should have no affect whatsoever on the oil pressure or sensor. So i'm not sure if i just never noticed it before and its normal that the oil pressure needle move when you accelerate hard, or if its not normal. I feel like it was always a little more stabile no matter how hard I accelerated but I can't say for certain. Thanks for any opinions/advice posted.

Not entirely sure if this is what you mean but typically the oil pressure is lower at idle and higher as you accelerate, under normal driving it will be low at a light for example and once you take off I will go up and should stay up until you come down to idle again.

I would take it off, drive your car and observe the gauges, then install and observe again

hi Dark. Thats exactly what I mean. Only thing is that now w the catch can the pressure gauge seems more responsive and I just never paid attn before so. Not sure if its normal.

a catch can wouldn't do anything with the oil pressure.
