but this seems to be some different sort of issue(maybe)
today i went out for a little "test drive" (new hood) and i noticed that my guage read out was at about 100 and stayed there even in idle
thought ok maybe you drive around an have a look what happens(also happend the last time i was driving but not that high).after several km it was still at 100(idle at around 50-60). after about 10-20km all of the sudden it was "normal" again full throttle about 70-80, idle at 40.drove for about 1,5 h and nothing still everything normal.

now my question is whatīs the issue with that?? bad oil pressure sensor??
had a oil change about 200km ago (stealership did it, and cracked one of the side steps ).oil level is at H.donīt drive the car that often about 2-3times a week(just a fun ride for good wheather).

any guesses???will def have a look under the car on the weekend to make sure the stealership didnīt messed up something

 

oil is thicker when cold.

 

yeah there have been alot of threads on oil pressure low its because its getting hot oil gets thinner if your that worried you could use a thicker oil. Or in your case maybe a thinner oil. My car does that but i use Mobil 1 0w-40 so i have to let it warm up, but when im at the track i usually have "normal" oil pressure when i come off where as most people have low oil pressure.

 

well thx for quick reply.....just what i thought ....but itīs still a little bit worrying...but iīll think iīll have to deal with it.
