Edit - Actually, he said he didn't break 300. My bad.

yeah, I noticed that. I went back and edited. I figured an hr w admin intakes, exhaust and tune would easily crack 300whp. Maybe his car isnt healthy.

Motordyne y-pipe. There goes 10-15hp. HRs are exhaust restricted and those huge V-stacked intake you have on i'm almost willing to bet only make 3-5hp over stock due to this Y-pipe. You can do that with just stock sized Z1 intakes. Id argue the Y-Pipe is the most important segment of the exhaust behind the Headers.
You dont need injectors for 300whp. i'm at 316whp on stock HR injectors zero issues.
The breathers seem like a nice idea, until 2000 miles down the road your always smelling oil burning because its everywhere. Im in this boat my self and am about to go in on the admin can setup. Id rather my car not catch on fire.
Dump the HR manis and move to the 370z Manis and you will actually pull to redline. This gets much better if you ever decide to go longtubes.

So someone needs to educate me on the attraction of shooting flames out the exhaust - while standing still.

Race, rally, drag cars with lots of cam overlap, huge fuel pressure, blowers and the like I get, it's a by product of making power for high rev applications and natural to spit flames on throttle-off downshifting. But to tune in severe ignition retard and constant fuel flow throttle off for parking lot cool, uhhhh, counterintuitive. If you study the flame map, you'll see that this is precisely what they do to produce flames (as well as the ubiquitous but useless "popping").

OP and anyone doing this, hey, it's your car. But dumping fuel into the exhaust (running the good chance of fouling cats and lambda/O2 sensors) after the fact and altering the ignition curve to make less power makes little sense to me. But hey, if you're happy...

Also destroys the exhaust, I'll never understand it, along with pops, they have no purpose.

Destroy my car to impress some kids with 2 brain cells? Hard pass, today's generation and the need to fit in with social media is laughable.
