Hey All,
I'm looking for a road course or drag strip that I can take my Z to and really see what this thing can do. So many ricers have tried to race me in the last week it's driving me nuts. I want to drive fast, but not with those crazies!
I'm in Mobile, AL, but I'd be willing to go as far as say, Road Atlanta or something. I checked their website but I could nto find any info about street legal car racing.
Help me open my baby up!

There is a drag strip off Canal Road in Gulfport, MS. It's about an hour and a half from you. Open to public on Wednesday nights.

Let me know if you decide to go there, I'll meet ya there.

Gulfport? Sweet! That's not too far away. I head over that way to do some gambling about once a month or so.
I read all of the requirements on the webpage, but I'm not sure my 350 has all of those things. Also, do I need to get a helmet gloves etc etc?
Can you tell this will be my first time drag racing? My last car was a Ford Taurus!

It has been many years since the 68 Camaro did 12.40 there, but I didn't have a helmet then. Not sure now. Give them a call, I don't think you need all that stuff to run a street legal car.
