Default 04 350z Base Tcs

Hey guys, as you can see from the title I have an 04 base model. I need some help. I wondering what do I need to go through to get a functional TCS button. I have the spot for it on my car below the gas cap button there is a spot for two more buttons but they are blank and cannot be pushed in at all. I know that's the spot for the button on the models with it. So I'm wondering do I just need to install the button or do I need to do the whole wiring scheme to get it to be functional. If so where can I buy all the wiring required for the TCS button. Any help would be great.
JUst as a side question. Has anyone figured out installing cruise control? I would also like cruise control but I've heard it's next to impossible.

Let's not be fooled and get ahead of ourselves. TCS added to a Base model goes well beyond "adding the TCS button". It will require a new/different ECM, additional sensors, and possibly other hardware to make ABS and fuel/ignition cut work. If you look at the different ECMs for different trim levels, you'll note different part numbers between Base '03-06 and Base '07-08 and every other trim level and year combination. I would hazard an educated guess that the algorithms needed for TCS and/or VDC (and associated dash display) are not included in the Base ECM. And while on that, looking up "TCS for base model" parts, the catalog all display dash components first. Not because they're necessarily required but just another dimension to consider.

Not to mention that ECMs aren't cheap and most are NLA from Nissan. Also, Nissan sells these based on VIN (not exclusively) so you might not be able to even obtain a TCS/VDC equipped ECM for your VIN.

I am NOT saying it can't be done. I just foresee a lot of things required that make its addition a non-starter from a cost-to-function perspective. But prove me wrong as it would be interesting, however limited in appeal, IMO.

Cruise is a lot easier. There are multiple write-ups on forum on how to add CC. Search this site via Google for best results.

A reminder that TCS and VDC are different. VDC also has a yaw rate sensor under the center console and a VDC computer under the dash above the pedals (LHD). I don’t believe TCScars use more than the wheel speed sensors and the ECM.

Not worth the hassle IMO. Those of us with VDC fully defeat it for the track, and I drive with the factory VDC-off on the street.
