Is anyone aware if the old 350z (2003-2007 DE) doors are compatible on the new 350z (2007-2009 HR)
I am aware that the interior door trim is missing a cup holder on the DE version but am unsure if this is the only difference.
Would the older door still bolt and plug in to the newer model 350Z?

Welcome- Nissan did a mild refresh of the Z33 with the late '06-08 model. The exterior doors are the same, but the interior door panels were part of the refreshed package.

So the interior would look different but I would still be able to mount and connect their wiring interchangeably?

The interior is interchangeable. Just a heads up that although the switches and plugs for the mirror, unlock and windows are the same, the trim panel that holds them (in the carbon fiber in the 2nd picture) is also different and you'd need that as well. On the passenger side, you would also need the older specific "oh ****" handle as well.

I'm looking for a replacement outer driver side door handle, and I'm seeing most listings say they fit 07 models up until production date 11/06. Others say fit 03-08. Are they different as well?

The door handles should switch over as well. I've done it on my Z33 racecar, but it's fully stripped inside.
