Default ECU Reset - Improve Performance Post-Mods?

Hi y'all,

So I've just recently discovered these magical ECU reset procedures for the Z and was wondering... Would completing the Idle Air Volume Learning procedure improve performance after fitting a catback exhaust to my '07 HR? Would this be a sort of bootleg tune-up? Any experience/nuggets of wisdom to share here?

Much appreciated!

100% not as good as a tune. HRs are restricted heavily around the Cats and y-pipe really you should do test pipes / ARTs / HFCs for a decent amount of power.
z1 intakes, ART pipes and something like a toemi catback is enough to get 300 whp
