Hi all,

I recently downloaded the UpRev ROM Editor software off the UpRev website, as well as their "EV18B Back To Stock.OsirisROM" ROM file for my 07 HR 350z. Question is, do I need to buy the UpRev cable to flash this pre-downloaded ROM or can I use any USB-to-OSB2 cable? If not, is there a free/opensource way to revert my EV18B ECU back to stock?

Any help appreciated!

 

You need an Uprev reflash cable to use their software.

 

Have you looked at the ROM RAIDER web site? It is free and open source software for Nissan ECUs as well as other manufacturers.
From what I've learned because our cars use the can buss for talking to the ECU you will need to buy a cable and a dougle (OBD). Cost is very reasonable. Much less than the UpRev cable
