Hey guys, I have this super odd issue going on. Some basics: Battery is good, key fobs used to work fine, I have a tune with a security mode map but I have not used the security mode so far(security mode is newish as I got a retune about 2 weeks ago and Moncef added that).


What is happening is my key fob does not work. If I turn the key to turn on the accessories and then turn the car off the key fob will work again for about 15 minutes. I also cannot program another key fob. I have tried many times and the car will not go into the programming mode when you stick the key in and out a bunch of times. I have programmed fobs for this car before without issue. Is there a radio receiving module in these cars that may be going bad? Have you ever heard of this before?

I did do a decent amount of research but all I found was instances of this happening to people with 350Zs. I did not find a single case of someone actually figuring it out. I am at a bit of a dead end so asking you all is one of my last resorts.

Thanks for your time and responses. It is getting annoying using the key to get in the car.
