Default Rack and Pinion w/ or w/o EVO?

Hello! I’m trying to replace a failed rack and pinion and I’ve been running into issues finding what I need in stock.

I currently have an 07 with the EVO rack and pinion, but I am not able to find any of that exact rack and pinion in stock. However, it is pretty easy to find one with no EVO.

So my question is, could I use a non-EVO rack and pinion even though the original had the EVO included?

I appreciate the help!

Ok so on CZP they list the rack and pinion and say it fits my car/engine, but there is zero mention of it having an EVO. Any idea if that still works, or if I am stuck buying some super niche part?

As far as I am aware there are only 3 racks corresponding to the engines in the cars if you have a 07-09 it should take a 07-09 rack
