Starting a new thread because there no info specifically in this matter, but only bypass and such, and this a little different.

When deleting the EVAP system (and by that I mean fully remove everything) what should be done with the remaining hoses/vents in the back where the charcoal box used to sit?
Should be 3 hoses, 1 tank, 1 vent and 1 purge that goes to the front and the valves/connectors.
Can I just leave these hanging and open or need to cap them all or connect one to another? I ask because o the vent/vapor and tank pressure.
Also for electricals is any resistor needed to trick the signal or you can just unplug and it's ok?

I mean disconnecting everything on the front and removing solenoid and intake small hose capping the ends.
Ikr there will be a CEL with the P0 Code and all that, I'm just asking regarding the loop of the system itself specially on the the rear where tank is and pressure is needed, since on bay everything will be off.

Would that trigger/make it worse the famous gas filling issue on the tank neck, or even any misfire when driving?

For the legality of the issue we do not condone this and messing with any emission control device on a DOT vehicle is illegal - were all going to assume this is a track only vehcle.

I trimmed the hoses as best I could (as I wasnt about to remove the gas tank over a few feet of hose and I removed all the remainining hoses and equipment associated.

I dont think a resistor of any sorts is going to fool the ECU as it has function that a resistor will not mimic. But CEL will remain on and you will not be able to pass any sort of emissions compliance.

I didnt have the gas filling issues other speak of nor does my garage smell like gasoline (above & beyond the gasoline that’s already in the garage.

Why are you removing the evap system?

Yes, it is indeed a track car and I am installing a FPR too so I want to take the chance and simplify the system once I'm there.
Yeah, I don't mind the smell too, nor the CEL, what just concerns me is about the hoses or where they used to be...
I also removed everything already, but did you cap the open hoses?
Also after that I started to have the fuel filling problem which I have never had before and a misfire started to happen as well I'm not sure if it's because of that or not...
Any other comments?
