03' or 04' Track Dilema
Since finding out that the 04's now have Euro-spec damping I have questions about going with an 04 Track model. I just test drove an 03' track yesterday and loved it, as I knew I would ( I currently have an M-Roadster). To compound matters, I see that the Nismo S-tune suspension is available for only non-VDC equipped cars currently. At first I figured I'd just buy a new 04' track, put a Nismo S-tune suspension and exhaust on and be done with it, but now I'm not sure. Personally I could care less about ride quality over performance, you don't buy a sports car for the cushy ride. Anyway, just wondering if there is anyone out there who knows how much different the 03 is from the 04 track model.

I drove both, not much difference in ride quality, the 03 did feel a little more buttoned down to me..but also pretty minimal. I think the 04 change gets rid of the "bounce" which has only been a prob for me once. I too prefer the stiffer damping. But to be fair I only drove the 04 about 15 miles...and I've had over 4k to get used to my 03.

the S-Tune suspension works fine with the VDC. All of the parts were just not tested on VDC cars, but many have installed the parts without problems. I dont see how it could make a difference. Get the track, S-Tune suspension, exhaust and be done like you planned, you wont be dissapointed.
