im heading to savannah and tybee island in ga...leaving march 19 (friday)....anyone else going there?

I have lived in Savannah since 99 and have had my fill of the St Patty's day festivities downtown. It is more of just a pain in the **** these days. It has gotten so bad that when you get a beer from one of the vendors you have to turn right around and get back in line immediately of go for an hour or two without refreshment.

If you make a post on the South East forums I'm sure you will get a few other members to come out and about. Keep me posted. Maybe we could have a mini Z meet that weekend.

 

I heard that savannah had the best St. Patty's day ever. This year I'm gonna do Boston as well as New York. Some guys at work were throwing around the idea of Savannah but we didn't get it together soon enough so that'll wait till next year.

 

hmm, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. what are some good spots to hit at River street during St. Patty's weekend? i have a friend that goes to SCAD and its not far from River St. at all from what i heard from her.
