Default Low Dyno Numbers?

Hi everyone. I just got my dyno done and it seems quite low compared to many others with similar mods. I doubt it’s the tuner, the shop is really reputable. If anyone has ideas or if I just need to adjust my expectations, let me know.

-de engine
-Vortech V3
-Kinetix high flow cats
-Borla exhaust
-tuned on dynapack

361 hp / 325 tq

68,000 miles

the tuner said I can get a bit more out of it with a fuel pump and a higher boost pulley. Assuming 380ish

My favourite drive has been a 2018 m4, I now know superchargers don’t feel the way I want my car to feel. I need 450/450ish turbo

not sure if I want to beef this up a bunch and accept that I have a monster of a car for 17500 usd all in with tune parts RWD or go with something bigger. I’ll get some more hours behind the wheel in spring and get to know the car a bit, only had it a week

We are opposites I don't like to be punched in the face with torque and prefer the linear nature of superchargers.
Looks like decent numbers tho.
I'll be blunt though. If the car isn't near your liking now you may just want to trade up to something better, building the block and going turbo will be a lot and it's better to get something that can do that out of the box.

Appreciate it darkZ. I’ll look around next season but it’ll be hard to beat this around this price. I think for 400/400+ or the potential to get there, turbo or something I can boost, convertible.. 30k+ CAD. Paid 18.5 for this then put in 5k in maintenance and small upgrades

No problem, that's exactly what attracts most to the platform. It's a great value and specially these days but without the HR 400hp-ish is your max. A full build would easily add $10k to the overall cost. You can always work on making the car more efficient, better diff, suspension, traction, that will make the car faster and more fun to drive.

I've been reading some threads about the 2.87 pulley, I think that'll give me 20/20 through most of the power band. Adding a Walbro pump, 650 injectors, and a real fuel return system (he said the one on the car is "pretend" and under the engine) should free up some space for another 15/15 through the band. If I end up at 390/340 those are numbers and more importantly delivery in the band that I can live with. For $25k~ CAD / $19k~ USD can't beat that anywhere.

Also I'm going to add lighter wheels, I'm rolling stock right now. Beef them up with 295 sticky tires. Then reassess.

Nothing Wrong with those Numbers for an out of the Box kit, in fact it's very Good.

I only made 323whp on my kit before making any modifications back in 2004
After making some changes I was abel to make 508/420 on 93 pump, and 577whp/446wtq on race fuel.

I PMed you, those are some great numbers. I looked at your profile and saw the only differences between our cars are 2.87, fuel return, your timrod brace, and a cog but I don't know what that parts about. Hoping to learn a bit more about how you got there, I'd be happy 450+whp/400+wtq

Your race gas numbers are supercar territory. I tracked a Huracan recently 610hp/410tq and it was incredible. Also ripped around in a 650s at 641hp/500tq, 570s at 560hp/440tq, and m4 at 425hp/406tq. Somehow the M4 felt as quick around town. Your numbers would be what.. 650hp/500tq crank? Crazy that a Vortech Z with a stock engine can do that

That M4 has a sub 3 sec 0-60 doesn't it, pretty darn fast.
So that's supercar territory as most are 10-11 sec 1/4 with a 2.x 0-60.
