Default Nismo Wing spoiler

Any feedback on the Nismo wing spoiler for the Fairlady?

Will this be available in the States?

would it be able to fit into the holes created by

Not for $730 US.

I just don't like the looks of it honestly, looks a bit odd to me.

If I did an aftermarket wing, and I'm not sure I would seeing as it's coming with the aero kit, I'd probably do a very low-profile touring style wing; likely all carbon fiber since my car is black.

But I'm sure someone will call me 'rice' or something.

Sure will be cheaper, the Honda's of the world will be trying to put them on. IMHO, a little too ricey for me.

Not to get into a performance aspects of this topis, but purely design wise, most wings would look silly on the Z. BUT, the NISMO wing look very good, very OEM race. I probably woudn't get it, but if I had to get a wing, the NISMO would definately be it.

I think the whole NISMO package looks sharpe. The wing, a little to much for my taste but still pretty cool.

I Agree with VQ. Dont really care for the horizonal bar in the front bumper. NOw, i LOVE the lower sill aero kit.

Default to much

that nismo stuff looks like it's way over priced.

for 700 dollars you could get a motorized adjustable rear spoiler and really impress the honda fans.

Just in case some of you Z (or prospective Z) owners forgot...

The 350 is a RWD car and can actually benefity from a properly designed wing that actually generates some downforce.

It would only help if you had an increase in front downforce as well to balance it out.

Wouldn't it have to be your dad that was considering the package?

As long as you stay in LA, where rice is big, that's OK with me.

LOL. Oh no, didn't I mention? I'm going to come by your house and take a picture of the jet wing equipped Z in your driveway.

Default I wasn't going to post...but

I like the front bumper of the NISMO.... for looks only.

I have ordered the aero package on my new Z... but the addition of the NISMO front bumper with the standard optional rear spoiler and diffuser ... would look pretty good.. In fact, the front lower lip in black reminds my of the last RX-7 that rolled off the the assembly line the end of July.. in a Silverstone-like color.

I really dont like the NISMO side skirts, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser -- too ricy for me. But the front bumper... looks good.

This option is not a priority with me... as I want suspension / wheel changes first.

Default Nismo wing is more manly

Well folks, for those of you that think the Nismo wing is too ricey, that's fine, remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. BUT, for those of you that have forgotten, to mark the 25th anniversary of the 300ZX, Nissan went to the best of the best, Steve Millen, and in co-operation with Kaminari (I believe), they came up with the ultimate body kit to mark this occasion and turn an already good looking machine into a beast.

Well folks, guess what the wing looked like?? Yup, almost the same thing. I find that little "lip" that Nissan offers makes the car more woman oriented, where as the more sculpted wing looks a liittle more male-race oriented. But again, that's just my opinion.

For reference, I attached my converted 300 ZX SMZ anniversary package pic of my car for comparison purposes (hopefully the picture will appear)

Now if I can only decide if I wan to trade this beauty in for a 350Z of G35 coupe
