Default Right tail lights not working

Did investigating and saw the assembly for my right tail light had water in it and the connectors were indeed corroded and wet. Saw a harness for the tail light but it looks plug and play and I saw on other sites and videos that you have to splice the new connectors in. Any help/ advice

Helps if you told us a bit of info on your car and the tail lights on there.

03-05 original halogen, replace the connectors and possibly bulbs.
03-05 with aftermarket or updated 06-08 tail lights then there might be a jumper, custom, or modified connectors on there.
06-08 replace the entire assembly.

2005 350z convertible. Just popped the lights off and it’s moisture and the connector is corroded but I’m having trouble looking for the brake light sockets. Everything is OEM

The brake light bulb socket will be on the rear of the tail light once you remove it. (red arrow)

The other socket below it is for the rear side marker (illuminates when the lights are on).
