Default Passenger Tail Light won’t work

2006 350z LED Tail lights. No bulbs
passenger light won’t turn on when the daytime running lights are on. Only when you press on the brake does it turn on. What causes this? Changed my tail light fuse. Didn’t work. Every light works besides the whole tail light assembly it only lights up when I press the brakes. Thank you fellas for your help

No idea- your post is confusing, let me try to untangle it-

-Your second sentence ("no bulbs") is confusing. Do your taillights have LED bulbs in them?

-Brake lights are on a separate circuit, so your brake lights should work on the PS. Have you checked the wiring harness and connectors on that side?

-Are you only concerned with the running lights on your PS?

Hello and sorry I was a bit in a rush typing my original post. It’s the 2006 which came with the updated tail lights with the LEDs. I even took the tail lights off and swapped them and was able to confirm that the twilights are fine and are NOT the problem. The issue is within the connector that plugs into the tail lights on the passenger side. It only lights up when I press the brakes

To clarify-
1) Did the ps tail ever work correctly?
2) Exactly what changed prior to the failure? Are you saying DRLs were added and now the pass tail only lights for braking?

It would be helpful if you could explain any changes that have been made clearly.

Good news! Went to a junk yard and cut off both of the tail light harness for $5! Went home cut the old one off and it was burnt looking telling me there was a short somewhere. Maybe water? Got them clean and soldered the new connector on and it works!!!
