Hello, my 2004 intake sensor I believe its called MAF is cutted but the car is running probertly.
Can someone help me identify the issue here ?
what options I have to fix it ?
And whats the cutted wire for ?

 

The black wire that is cut is the ‘ground’ for the intake air temp sensor … Intake air temps are an important aspect of tuning but they dont have much influence on the performance of the car unless the environment is very hot or very cold.

Your best bet is buy a pigtail replacement and splice it in
