HELP!!! Electrical troubleshoot
Long story short was recently involved in an accident with my 2008 manual 350z which is boosted. I purchased an automatic 08 auto and swamped my built engine/ manual transmission into. Running the manual ecu harness and the manual ecu from the tuned boosted car. I am now trying to disable nats with an uprev tune from my tuner. Uprev cable is being detected with computer but when I plug into obd2 port uprev just says searching for ecu. I plugged in a regular scan tool wasn’t getting power so I checked and replaced a blown fuse in the kick panel obd2 now recognizes ecu uprev still says searching for ecu. Any insight to what the problem could be helps. Throttle bodies are making a loud electrical buzzing sound as well. Unlikely that I have 2 bad ECUs in my opinion
What I’ve checked so far
-Took my cable to a local mechanic who has VQs in the lot to verify my cable works (recognizes other ecus)
-Swamped the auto ECU in uprev still just searches for ecu
-I’ve checked fuses in the kick panel/IPDM also swapped in ipdm from old car
-Checked the grounds on timing cover
-Checked fuses and relays in IPDM
- Disconnected battery several times overnight to reset ecu
***Update figured it out one of the plugs behind the clock spring was disconnected.***
