Test pipes
Hello everyone, as much help is appreciated. I have a Injen Technology catback exhaust system on my 06 Z, I want to get some test pipes now. I was wondering if I should get resonated or non resonated test pipes. I want pops and bangs, so after buying either one, I will install a y pipe instead of the X pipe that comes with the cat back exhaust system already bought. My only problem is is that I don’t want raspy sounds. I want pops and bangs, but aggressive, not raspy. Will I get away with non resonated test pipes with the X pipe for now? Will it be raspy? Or should I get resonated, even though I have a built in resonator on the X pipe. Thanks!
With the Injen exhaust system I have now, it is not raspy, and I have the ecutek tune ready to go for the burble map.

Doesn't matter which ones you get. The unburned fuel igniting in them is going to take them out in a short time anyways.
Pops and bangs caused by real modifications like cams overlap, blowers on drop throttle overrun, fine. Tuned in (fake) afterrun noise is just a waste of time with no gains but might gain parking lot points with the unknowing.
But, your car.
