Decions suck. Please help. Test pipe....
I am so close to buying Berk test pipes I have stock exhaust with Injen CAI and some other random stuff like stage 2 clutch, willwood master, and heavy duty slave.
At the moment I dont have enough $$ for a tune so are my hopes for test pipes smashed?
If ANYONE would help with some pros and cons. Would be awesome. Yes I know its going to be loud.

I would absolutely suggest a cat back first. Test pipes without the will do nothing but eat gas mileage (thanks to CEL).
My car with injen intake and cat back was running around a little lean (14.0 AFR at WOT), uprev tune is now around 12.7 AFR.
Soon will be putting on resonated test pipes and fully expect to need some tune tweaking.

Appears all your problems could be solved with more $.
I'd just save up if I were you. Do it all at once so it's legit. You get one part now, you still missing another piece to make it all work efficiently.
As others stated above, you'd want a tune. You'll definitely be running lean.

If you plan on running TP don't install them until you get a cat back as well. For one, paying for install twice is absurd. I ran HFC's without an exhaust once and I assure you it sounds like complete dogsh!t. Work hard and save up your money to do it right the first time.

you will have a choke point if you swapped out the cats without doing the exhaust first, the way i did it was got the invidia exhaust, and then kinetix HFC's, and finally got tired of them and got the motordyne ART pipes (shockwave tdx2 coming soon). right now mine sounds throaty without being too loud. if you can afford the $600 get the art pipes, the way they have the bung, (and if you look inside there is just a small hole for exhaust to enter it and only about the size of pencil lead) you shouldnt throw a code. i didnt when i put on my kinetix, but i was also tuned shortly there after
